With hundreds of new clean energy technologies emerging today, TCOM (Thermal Conversion of Organic Materials) process is backed by over 30 years of research and development in state-of-the-art energy technology labs. The TCOM Carbonization process is a thermodynamic process that relies on a proprietary system of controlled gasification/pyrolitic process, under pressure, that dramatically increases carbonization speed and quality over other processes. The result is that waste (biomass) is converted into carbon or charcoal in as little as 30-40 minutes, and has 200% more energy value than current commercial technologies’.
BioEnergy is renewable energy made available from materials derived from biological sources. Utilizing biomass, the biological material used as a BioFuel, BioEnergy is the energy extracted from the biomass and converted to a commonly used form of energy.
The energy content of waste products can be harnessed directly as a direct combustion fuel, or indirectly by processing them into another type of fuel. This ranges from using waste as a fuel source for cooking or heating to fuel for boilers to generate steam and electricity in a turbine.
Pyrolysis and gasification are two related forms of thermal treatment. In the process of pyrolysis, solid waste is converted into solid, liquid and gas products. The liquid and gas can be burned to produce energy or refined into other products. Gasification is used to convert organic materials directly into a synthetic gas (syngas) composed of carbon monoxide and hydrogen. The gas is then burned to produce steam. Specifically, TCOM utilizes both the Pyrolysis and Gasification methods mentioned above. This is what makes the TCOM system truly revolutionary in that both of these methodologies are harmoniously combined to create BioEnergy.
The system can be expanded or limited from one to several processors, thus it is effective for small scale sites or as an on-site generation system for communities, specialized issues, islands or for natural disasters. Unlike other technologies that require larger refineries and facilities, the processors are easily transported and require only half an acre up to one acre for its operation. The system is scalable to include either one ton or three and a half ton processors depending of the size of the operation desired.
Imagine Your Town as a model Town and a leader in the fight to stem the tide of "Global Warming", the reduction of greenhouse gases, and the pollution from our land and waterways. This can be achieved now, and in a way that will create several revenue streams for the Town.
We understand that most Towns have a growing concern knowing their current landfills will reach there capacity soon. Council members share your dilemma which is to find viable alternative solutions other than expanding the landfill or paying to have the refuse trucked elsewhere. Well, we have the solution for you. We can assist you by reducing or eliminating the Town's solid waste.
